rich dad poor dad

If you have not read the book, Rich Dad Poor Dad, you need to read it sometime. It is said to be one of the first financial books that business students should read, as it contains very unique ideas, yet basic principles. The unique ideas and brilliant theories come from the author's, Robert Kiyosaki, personal experiences in life. The basic principles are such things as limiting liabilities and increasing assets. If you do not know a lot about how money works or how money can work for you, then this is the perfect book to start out with. I did not know a lot when i read it a couple years ago, but now I look at the my shares in the stock market everyday, and am always browsing the financial section of bookstores whenever I am around. Rich Dad Poor Dad is not a book that just has a bunch of boring writing about how money works. Kiyosaki has found a way to make it very interesting, and has even added graphs and pictures to illustrate his ideas. He talks about his own Dad's ideas, along with his friend's dad's ideas. While Kiyosaki does values school, he feels that it is necessary to know more about finance then school can teach you. This is the book to start reading to gain some of that knowledge. My accounting teachers love the book, and I think it is a must-read for business majors.
